This course is about major revolutions, important events and wars of the modern era. The students will begin by learning about ancient civilizations and ancient to modern countries of Asia. Other topics covered will be WWI and WWII and continue through current events happening around the world. A variety of methods are used to help students understand these important events and their relationship to our world today. National and world current events will be important topic for class discussion.
